TurfTV signs up Betfred
Amalgamated Racing Limited, the provider of TurfTV to the bookmaking industry, is pleased to announce it has signed a long-term contract with major high-street bookmaker Betfred.
The deal, which runs for five years, will allow Betfred to show exclusive TurfTV pictures from 31 leading UK racecourses – plus a range of other betting content – in all of its licensed betting offices (LBOs).
Alan Morcombe, TurfTV’s Executive Chairman, said: “I am delighted that Betfred has agreed to subscribe to TurfTV and welcome them as a valued customer. The immediate thrust will be to ensure that every Betfred LBO enjoys the TurfTV product as quickly as possible and I sincerely hope that we will now develop very much closer relations with Betfred enabling it to maximise its investment in the TurfTV channel”.
Fred Done, Betfred’s owner, commented: “I am very happy that an agreement has been reached with TurfTV, my customers will be delighted that they can now look forward to watching every race every day in all my shops”.
In addition, BetFred and Turf TV have agreed to settle the court proceedings between them.
TurfTV’s pictures are shown by the UK’s biggest LBOs, including Ladbrokes, William Hill, Coral, Tote and Paddy Power.
